Vacation

I am so excited. I am going to the beach ahhhhhhhh... I have to wait til September but I can't wait. We are going to the shore in Jersey. I have got to start making my packing list. I am so fair skinned I always burn lol. I love to go to Tybee Island in Savannah, Ga. It has lots of really good memories but it was also holds some bittersweet memories. My mom and dad took us there every year while we were growing up. My dad got cancer and his last wish was for the whole family to go there together again. My sister her husband and kids, my brothers, my son and I rented a condo for a week so we could take my mom and dad. My dad was so happy to be on his beach with all of us around him but he was so weak and all he could hardly walk. He died a month after we got back. I haven't been able to go there again. My sister and her family goes every year but they go to a different side of the beach not my dad's beach. So let me know some of your good and/or bad vacation memories or dreams

School Days

Hi everyone. I was doing some of my classwork for my computer class and decided to ask what some of your favorite websites. I know most of us live on you tube, facebook, twitter, and my space. These are excellent ways to keep up with our friends and family. I like to play games on yahoo but also look up almost everything on the internet. I never use a phone book anymore or even my home phone for that matter. Our children are even more into technology than we are. So my question is what would happen if the ability to use this technology and internet ceased to exist? My son wouldn't know what to do with hiumself. I wouldn't be able to call anyone because all of their numbers are in my cell phone. Admit it we don't know anyone's number anymore lol. Think how much longer it would take to do your class assignments because you would actually have to get up and go to the library to research instead of sitting in your jammies and usingyour computer. Our children would be so lost so what are some of your thoughts?

Fourth of July

Hi everyone my name is Candy and this is about my life. Yesterday was the Fourth of July. I worked all day but was thinking about some of the traditions associated with this celebrations. Most people BBQ with family and friends and then end the evening either in a stupor lol or by going to watch the fireworks. Who actually started these traditions and what are some of your traditions for the Fourth.
